This auction is for (5) 14' x 7' ENKEI aluminum wheels with a 5 on 4 3/4" bolt pattern mounted with Goodyear Eagle ST 235 60/R14 tires. Should fit many GM car models. The spare still has nubs on it and appears to have never been used. Tread depth measures approximately 11/32 of an inch. The other four tires have tread depths of approximately 7/32 to 9/32. The wheels are in very good condition but have some spots and streaks which might have come from an improper wheel cleaner used in the past. I believe a good metal polishing job would return these to like new condition. Includes all (20) lug nuts and center caps. These were on a car I recently purchased from California and am restoring back to stock configuration. I can arrange for delivery at the Jefferson Wisconsin Swap meet September 27th if a prospective buyer would find it more convenient to pick them up there rather than the Green Bay, Wisconsin area.

NHTSA unveils new safety ratings; BMW and Hyundai first to get five stars
Tue, 05 Oct 2010The 2011 BMW 5-series and the Hyundai Sonata were the first two cars to achieve five-star ratings under NHTSA's revised safety ratings announced on Tuesday. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will rate a total of 24 cars, 20 SUVs, nine pickups and two vans for the 2011 model year. The federal agency has significantly modified its rating process and will now grade side-pole testing and crash-prevention technologies such as lane-departure warning and electronic stability control.
BMW X3 gets a turbo four-cylinder
Thu, 16 Feb 2012BMW is expanding the use of its N20 turbocharged four-cylinder engine by making it the base powerplant for the 2013 X3 SUV. The X3 xDrive28 will use the twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 240 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Twin-scroll turbocharging means that the exhaust stream of cylinders one and four follow a separate path to the turbine wheel from cylinders two and three.
SPD starts collaboration with VW Group Design on Masters program
Thu, 05 Aug 2010Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) and Volkswagen Group Design are starting a new five year collaboration program focused on the development of experimental mobility projects for Lamborghini, Audi and Volkswagen. The Milan, Italy-based university is offering eight scholarships to participate to the one year Master Program in Car and Transportation Design, which will take place from 21 October 2010 to October 2011. The university is currently accepting applications from students and professionals from all over the world, with the aim of providing training with the protagonists of automotive design.
