Nice rim, with relatively fresh valvestem. Some curb rash, but not much see picture. Two small scratches shown up close in the second pic, one on either side of the area where the valvestem is one on the spoke and one on the edge of the painted part of the rim. Small, but I do not like to disappoint.  Uses the 6 3/4 inch center cap, so check yours before bidding. There are two sizes of caps used on very similar looking wheels like these. That is not unusual for Ford. This rim worked perfectly, holds air and is straight. Looks pretty fine too. And for a bargain price. I have sold plenty of these over years, with NO customer complaints except one - He was disappointed to see that the BACK of the rim was not as clean as the front. Really. I'm not kidding. So here is the legalese disclaimer on this wheel, and the only one: "Please understand that there will be road dirt/brake dust deposits on the back of this wheel, cause it runs on the road and lives its life bolted to a brake rotor. Thank you". Nuff said. If you have read this far and looked at the picture, you will NOT be disappointed. See my feedback if you are nervous, then bid with confidence.Shipping only to the 48 states. Thanks for looking!

BMW X7 back on?

Tue, 09 Nov 2010

The BMW X7 - Made for China Yes, yet another BMW X-Something to consider – the BMW X7. This time an enormous SUV that was canned as an idea a couple of years ago when the world went in to financial meltdown, but one that is starting to look like a sensible move once more for BMW. Sensible?

Five reasons to celebrate the end of the paper UK driving licence

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

From January 2015 Britain’s much-derided paper counterpart driving licence is being phased out. This is A Good Thing, ending an annoying bi-partite arrangement that’s blighted drivers’ pockets for 16 years. Driving licences have been with us since 1903, when they were first mandated – but the current, annoyingly two-part licences have been in use since 1998, with a bank card-sized photocard accompanied by a printed sheet of A4.
