The Furuno Model 1621MK2 is a compact, waterproof LCD Radar for smaller craft. It consists of a display unit, antenna unit and interconnect cable. The display unit has a 6", high-definition LCD screen which displays echoes in 4 shades of grey. The screen is clearly visible day and night.

Standard features include EBL, EVRM, Echo Trail and Guard Zone Alarm. Automatic control of tuning, gain and anti-clutter combines optimum performance with ease of operation.

The 1621MK2 offers three different operation modes: Normal, Off-center or Watch. In Watch mode, the antenna is stopped and the transmitter is off while the screen displays nav data only. The radar wakes up at specified intervals (5, 10 or 20 minutes) and operates for 20 scans. If targets enter or leave the guard zone, an audible alarm sounds and the radar resumes normal operation.

Being both compact and waterproof, the display unit is ideally suited to both fly bridge and cockpit installations.

Standard Features:
  • Waterproof, high resolution, high contrast 6" LCD display
  • Display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels
  • Targets displayed in up to 4 gray tones

OK.After receiving numerous e-mails about the signal cable I have updated this listing to make things as clear as possible..

OK...One more update i have include it for all of you who wanted photos of the cut cable also a photo how to splice the video RG cable color gray on photo ..one splice for the center core one for the outer sheeting this is photos of actual cable cut..

Comes with signal cable and power cable, the signal cable was cut on removal approximate 8 ft. from the control head, needs to be spliced (if you know what your doing) , all connector end's included .If  you use this cut signal cable and wire it wrong you can kill the unit...if you get a new or uncut signal cable  or send the cut cable  to your local electronics shop for splicing i give you 14 days to return the unit if you not happy with it.(proof of signal cable purchase or professional splicing receipt is required).

If you use the old signal cable and splice it your self, than there is no return on the unit and is sold as is

I include the cut signal cable,  if you know how to spliced back together, you can save some money, but you do it on your own risk!!!

(it is a tedious job and takes 1-2hour to do it right with the right tools and skills)

There is a used cable on e-bay search "Furuno RSB-00" check with seller to make sure it is the right cable for this antenna, or you can get a new cable from "Defender marine"

This is a great little radar in great condition, but I will be not responsible you killing it with the wrong splice on the signal cable..

Screen cover included

Come off of sailboat very little use...

Shipping includes insurance..shipping cost is for the lower 48states...all other states pay actual shipping cost...

Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R for 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Toyota As we predicted last week, Toyota will unveil a 400hp Yaris Hybrid-R supermini concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show next month after dedicating its appearance at the German auto expo to "the presentation of hybrid technology". The Japanese firm has been at the forefront of hybrid technology in the modern era with its eco-focused Prius family hatchback, but has also brought petrol-electric propulsion systems to the fore in top line world motorsport with its TS030 Le Mans racer. On Bing: see pictures of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R Find out how much a used Toyota Yaris costs on Auto Trader Powered by Toyota’s 1.6-litre Global Racing Engine and supplemented by a pair of electric motors, the Yaris Hybrid-R actually uses similar technology to the firm’s hybrid Le Mans prototype, with kinetic energy recovered under breaking ‘stored’ in a super capacitor as electricity.
