KNUCKLEHEAD TOP END
A SET OF LATE 1946 B LINCH CYLINDERS WITH A NEW .050 BORE. A SET OF NEW PISTONS THAT WERE IN THESE CYLINDERS ARE INCLUDED CONNECTED TO THE CYLINDERS ARE A SET OF LATE KNUCKLEHEADS. THESE APPEAR TO HAVE ALL NEW VALVES AND GUIDES. hEADS AND CYLINDERS ARE STILL BOLTED TOGETHER AS THEY WERE REMOVED FROM THE LOWER END.
IT APPEARS THIS MOTOR WAS REBUILT IN THE EIGHTIES AND STORED SINCE THEN. MOTOR HAS NOT BEEN RUN SINCE OVERHAUL.
WE SEE ONE SMALL MISSING ON THE FRONT HEAD ABOVE THE EXHAUST PERT. NO DAMAGE NOTED ON THE REAR HEAD. A COUPLE SMALL FINS DAMAGED ON THE CYLINDERS. A NEAR PERFECT TOP END FOR YOUR PROJECT. 
ROCKER BOXES ARE VERY LATE 46 AND VERY EARLY 47. THIS IS SOMETHING WE HAVE SEEN IN THE PAST ON HIGH SERIAL NUMBER 46 MOTOR AS THE 47 STYLE BOXES WERE INTRODUCED.

Chrysler issues recall for steering-column fix

Buyers of 11,351 Chrysler products will be getting a recall notice to fix a problem in the steering column. The recall covers 2011 models of the Chrysler 200 sedan and convertible and the Town & Country minivan; the Dodge Avenger sedan, the Caliber, Nitro and Journey SUVs, and the Grand Caravan minivan; and the Jeep Compass, Liberty, Patriot and Wrangler SUVs. The steering column in some of those vehicles might be missing a pivot rivet, or the rivet may have been installed incorrectly.

We don't normally cover the addition of new variants to an established model range, but the five-door version of the latest, third generation Mini is an exception. In terms of pure numbers, the new model is 161mm longer than the Hatch, at 3,982mm, and has a 72mm-longer wheelbase, at 2,567mm. Standing 1,425mm high makes it 11mm taller.

The Porsche 918 Spyder specification have been revealed Porsche has tried to keep weight in check on the 918 Spyder, but having a big, heavy electric hybrid setup on board hasn’t made that easy, and nor has making that setup 4WD. So Porsche has built the monocoque chassis from carbon fibre reinforced polymer to keep weight in check, despite which the 918 Spyder still comes in at a weighty 1640kg, even in ‘Weissach’ trim (more in standard guise). So Poprsche has had to be clever about the way they use the power they have on offer.
