Peugeot 3008 HDi 150 Review & Road Test (2010)

Mon, 09 Aug 2010

The Peugeot 3008 - is a Crossover just a compromise? We’ve long wondered if the whole Crossover fad – for a Crossover is what the Peugeot 3008 Sport HDi 150 we have to play with this week is – is just a secret campaign by big car makers to cut down the number of styles of each model they need to offer. Just check out the plausible body details of the Mini Coupé, which shares much of the design of the existing hatch, convertible and Clubman below the scuttle to keep costs down. The two-seater Mini Coupé Concept, which will be displayed for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, represents a dual effort by Mini to tap into the sports car market currently hogged by the Mazda MX-5.

Nissan Juke-R (2011) first official pictures

Tue, 04 Oct 2011

Nissan has form for creating serious bonkers mash-ups – and the new Juke-R is the latest in a long-line of go-faster humdrum models. They've dropped the turbocharged V6 from a £72k GT-R under the bonnet of a Nissan Juke, spawning a rather bonkers supercar crossover. Strictly for promotional purposes, you understand – there are no plans to sell the new Juke-R.
