of the same high-quality T-304 that is utilized in our Headers and Turbo
Manifolds for extreme durability and resistance to corrosion and
cracking. The missing component between any Header/Manifold and your
Cat-Back system, these Down-pipes will complete the high-flow exhaust
system desired for the performance of your vehicle. With a noticeable
power gain throughout the rev-range and a polished finish, these are a
perfect addition for any performance vehicle. Expect an increase in
exhaust tone, due to freeing up the exhaust flow and the deletion of the
catalytic converter. (NOTE: For off-road use only, not intended for use
on public highways.)

Chevrolet Volt fire probe is closed, NHTSA says
Sat, 21 Jan 2012U.S. safety regulators said Friday that they've closed an eight-week investigation into the Chevrolet Volt, concluding that the plug-in hybrid's battery doesn't pose a significant fire risk following a crash. In a statement, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it "does not believe that Chevy Volts or other electric vehicles pose a greater risk of fire than gasoline-powered vehicles." The agency said that modifications intended to reinforce the Volt's 435-pound lithium-ion battery pack that General Motors announced on Jan.

Decided on by a jury of 53 motoring journalists from across Europe, the shortlists is made up of the BMW i3, Citroen C4 Picasso, Mazda 3, Mercedes S-Class, Peugeot 308, Skoda Octavia and Tesla Model S. This is the first time the ECOTY shortlist of contenders has included two electric vehicles with the BMW i3 and Tesla Model S.
