My wife and I used our lower cords put these Helmets on today 5-31 and hooked them up to our Gold Wing and the J&M Elite headsets worked perfect!! Great sound, voice activated vox cuts the music down for crisp clear talking and then backup to volume when done talking.

THIS IS A VERY NICE SET OF FLIP FRONT MODULAR HELMETS, BOTH HAVE INTERNAL DROP DOWN SUN SHADES. BOTH HELMETS HAVE SOME LIGHT SCUFF AND SCRATCHES FROM LIGHT USE BUT I HAVE POLISHED THEM AND THEY STILL LOOK GREAT. THE LINERS AND CHEEK PADS IN BOTH ARE NEAR PERFECT SHOWING NO WEAR, NO SWEAT STAINS, NO ODER OR SMELL AND BOTH ARE REMOVABLE/WASHABLE AS WELL. BOTH COME WITH NICE CLOTH STORAGE BAGS. THIS IS A REALLY GOOD LOOKING NICE SET!!

New MINI 5-door Hatch starts rolling off the production line in Oxford MINi are wasting no time in getting the new 5-door MINI Hatch in to production following its reveal at the start of June, with the firs 5-door MINIs already rolling off the production line at MINI’s Oxford Plant. The five-door MINI is the second MINI model to be built off BMW’s new UKL 1 platform – the new MIN I being the first – with the platform stretched to give the five-door an extra 72mm in it wheelbase, 15mm extra headroom and enough length to add a pair of (small) back doors). And unlike the three-door Hatch, the new five-door Hatch will be available with a full suite of models from the off, with the SD Cooper included in the range from launch as well as the  Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S.

MIT develops self-transforming materials that behave 'like robots without robots'

A cross-disciplinary research lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has developed a suite of programmable materials, including carbon fiber, printed wood grain, textile composites, rubbers and plastics, that self-transform when exposed to an external stimulus. Director of the Self-Assembly Lab, Skylar Tibbits, presented a TED talk on 4D printing in 2013, where he demonstrated how a flat sheet of material could effectively build itself when exposed to water, like a robot without a robot. Following positive feedback from industries including aviation, automotive and manufacturing, his lab has been working on developing materials that change according to different activation sources, including heat, light, and air pressure, in addition to water – all of which have automotive relevance.

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 to appear at Goodwood

On Wednesday we told you about the Mazda MX-5 GT concept that will be featured at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. On Thursday, Ford announced that its new Mustang Shelby GT500 will be taking a turn on the famous hillclimb circuit as well. Goodwood will be the GT500's first appearance outside of the United States.
