For tall high-rise intakes: An extra-long, throttle (accelerator) cable, 24½" overall, 2 to 5 inches longer than typical small block or big block stock cables! Made in USA by an OEM Mopar supplier! Will fit all Mopars that use the round firewall / pedal-bracket fitting - this includes most 66-'69 and early '70s cars, most A-bodies, etc. If yours is an E-body, or a 71-up B-body model with the bulbous snap-in plastic firewall fitting, this will NOT fit, but check my other listings, I have you covered. De Tomaso Deauville production off to China

Mon, 26 Dec 2011

De Tomaso Deauville - off to China Gian Mario Rossignolo’s De Tomaso has been struggling to get up and running, and now they’ve sold De Tomaso Deauville production to China. If there’s been one constant in the history of De Tomaso, it’s been a lack of money. And despite former Fiat exec Gian Mario Rossignolo’s takeover of the De Tomaso brand from the liquidators last year, it seems nothing much has changed.

Video: Autoweek tours the Tesla EV factory

Wed, 12 Oct 2011

Our own Mark Vaughn recently took a tour of the sprawling California plant where Tesla is gearing up to build as many as 20,000 electric cars per year. Formerly part of the General Motors/Toyota New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. joint venture, the vast space allows huge swaths of factory floor--all newly painted--between each of the machines.

New Peugeot 308 SW (Estate) revealed

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

New Peugeot 308 SW (Estate) revealed The new Peugeot 308 has only just gone on sale in the UK, but Peugeot are ready with its load-lugging sibling – the Peugeot 308 SW Estate – revealed this morning ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Peugeot aren’t telling us what the boot capacity of the new 308 SW is with the back seats down, but with the back seats up it offers 610 litres – more than rivals like the Golf and Focus Estates can manage – and Peugeot say the load space is particularly uncluttered too. The extra space is thanks to an increase in length of the Estate over the Hatch of 327mm – all in the boot area as the wheelbase stays the same as the hatch – with the same EMP2 platform as the Hatch making the Estate up to 140kg lighter too.
