★ NEW Merkur XR4Ti White Glow Gauges 150 MPH 170 MPH Ford Sierra XR4i RS Cosworth  ★

All illumiglo gauge sets now come with 6 faces !

3 Speedometer faces - 150mph, 170mph , Cosworth 170mph

2 Tachometer faces, one with a boost gauge and one without

1 Fuel / Temperature face

Mix and match the faces to create the set-up you want.

These faces can convert 85 mph speedo to 150 mph or 170 mph!

Also included is the power inverter and dimmer control to hook up to any 12v source in the car. If you take the 12v feed from the factory dimmer switch, then the factory dimmer switch will control the lighting just as stock. These faces use electroluminescence technology to light up the graphics and do not require use of the dim stock cluster lamps at all. You will finally be able to see your gauges at night again!

Installation is quite simple, just place on top of your existing gauge faces and hook up to any 12v power source. You DO NOT want the wires on the bottom of the face to bend, so it will be necessary to cut 3 small notches in the cluster housing for wire clearance.

Below please find a demo video showing all 3 speedometer sets of these lit up as well as a second video showing how and where to notch out your cluster housing.

The inverter for these has a switch that lets you select between blue and green illumination.  Blue is shown in the pictures and videos.

Glow Gauges for Sale

Bristol Cars sold to China. Possibly.

Fri, 01 Apr 2011

Bristol Cars - is it a Chinese Takeaway Earlier this month we reported the sad demise of the quirky and eccentric supercar maker that is Bristol cars, forced in to administration through a shortage of equally eccentric millionaires to buy their creations from another time. The good news is that they still look like a viable entity if they’re properly marketed, so we didn’t expect it to be too long before a buyer popped up and grabbed the Bristol Cars name, its Kensington showrooms and the handful of staff left. So we weren’t surprised to get an email this morning from China telling us the press there are reporting that the Xinjiang No1 Tractor Company – a State-owned maker of tractors (you’d never have guessed) – had snapped up Bristol Cars from the administrators.

2013 Chevy, GMC trucks recalled for roll-away risk

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

General Motors is recalling 69,000 2013 full-size trucks and vans that could shift out of “park” and roll away. The recall impacts the Cadillac Escalade; the Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado HD and LD, and Suburban and Tahoe; and the GMC Savana, Sierra HD and LD, and Yukon and Yukon XL. The trucks may have been built with a fractured park-lock cable, or a deformed steering-column lock-actuator gear in the lock-module assembly.

TFL to get more poweres over roads

Wed, 27 Nov 2013

GREATER POWERS will be given to Transport for London to enforce road alterations after legislation finally cleared parliament. TfL and London borough councils will also be able to ensure builders' skips are properly lit and make developers pay for any damage they cause to roads or footpaths. But the changes, contained in the London Local Authorities and Transport for London (No.2) Bill, have taken exactly six years to pass through parliament.
