Product info from West Marine...

"It was hard to improve on our perennially best-selling coastal jacket, but our seventh-generation model delivers an improved fabric that is even more waterproof, yet doesn’t sacrifice its outstanding breathability or lightweight comfort. This jacket makes the perfect choice for weekend trips in moderate conditions with its fully lined, fully seam sealed, breathable, 100% water- and windproof Oxford nylon outer shell with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. The articulated hood pod and brushed mesh collar have been improved by adding extra room so when the collar is fully zipped it will allow for the additional bulk of mid layers. Hi-vis, foldaway hood features volume adjuster and one-handed aperture adjusters. Internal layering loops at neck and cuffs. Other additions include cargo pockets that are now angled for easier access, super soft handwarmer pockets are located behind the cargo pockets without zippers for easier use, plus zippered handwarmer pockets have been added at the upper chest to make access easy while wearing a PFD. Internal zip pocket with headphone port, adjustable cuffs, internal Dartex storm cuff, two-way storm flap with drainage channel, two-way non-corrosive center front zipper and adjustable waist with internal shock cord adjusters. Imported."

Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying: Hamilton grabs pole for Mercedes

Sat, 29 Mar 2014

Lewis Hamilton takes pole in Malaysia in heavy rain Lewis Hamilton has secured his second pole position in two outings for Mercedes at the Malaysian Grand Prix – equaling Jim Clark’s record of 33 poles – as rain turned the Sepang track in to a lake. And with drivers quickly going on to full wets – and cars flying off the track as the rain took control of the qualifying sessions – the playing field was levelled, allowing Red Bull’s reigning World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, to almost pip Hamilton to pole, taking second place just 0.055s behind the Brit. Behind Vettel is the winner of the opening Australian Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg, in the second Mercedes, followed by the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso and the Red Bull of new boy Daniel Ricciardo – who was so impressive in Asutrali two weeks ago – taking fifth spot.

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 January 2007 06:24 Chrysler Nassau Concept: the lowdown You're looking at Chrysler's new sampler for a shooting brake: the Nassau concept newly unveiled in Detroit. Design boss Trevor Creed heralded it as 'a new, more emotional Chrysler.' Although the same size as the mean-'n'-moody 300C saloon, the Nassau is designed to look smaller, with more delicate surface treatments, a subtler new eggcrate grille and a slimmer, more European hatchback rear end. The Nassau portrays more compact dimensions, despite rolling on huge 10-spoke, 22in alloy wheels.
