◄█ Very nice Men's Size 13 US Icon Field Armor Motorcycle Street Riding Boots. These boots are excellent for dual-sport/dual purpose riders as well as street. Icon makes some of the very best riding equipment and you'll find that this design is over-the-top in making sure that the rider has optimal comfort and protection. These boots feature a three-way closure system: full-lace, full-length zipper in the instep AND three dual-adjustment buckles per boot. (You can actually get in and out of these boots very quickly via the side zipper even when fully laced & buckled.) The tongue is very thick and soft which adds to the support and comfort provided by these boots. They feature a heavy duty street-specific sole, breathable mesh construction, and lots of injection molded armor. The heel cup offers superb protection and the mid-shin height design offers ankle protection that is superior to a conventional street boot while offering better freedom of movement & comfort compared to a full height boot. The sizing is easy because it is accurate to shoe sizing. If you wear a size 13 US; this boot will fit. I like the stealth look of an all-black boot as they look smart with just about any apparel  and on just about any bike. These boots are 10" tall and weigh 2 Pounds, 13 Ounces each as they sit. This is the only pair I have so if you like them, don't wait!

BMW Concept ActiveE at Detroit motor show 2010

Thu, 17 Dec 2009

BMW has unveiled this rolling testbed for its electric car strategy - the new Concept ActiveE - at the 2010 Detroit motor show. It's a fully electric BMW and a hint of what's to come through the long-range visionary Project i plan which will reshape BMWs for the 21st century. No prizes for guessing it's based on an existing BMW production car, the 1-series Coupé. But the hardware underneath is designed to percolate across the lower echelons of the BMW range, starting with some exciting new bespoke electric cars. The ActiveE is the first fully electric BMW and follows in the treadmarks of the Mini E. Like the Mini, this battery BM will be used as a pilot test programme where it will be driven by selected private and fleet motorists.BMW ActiveE concept: how it worksThis is a rear-drive BMW with the internal combustion engine ditched in a Munich scrapheap.

Rolls Royce at the Paris motor show 2008

Rolls Royce at the Paris motor show By Mark Walton Motor Shows 03 October 2008 16:11 Nothing much happening at the Rolls Royce stand at Paris. There are three cars lined up: the enormous Phantom (still the Daddy); the vast Drophead (with its yacht-style rear decking); and the gargantuan two-door Coupe(launched at Geneva earlier this year). Hey, Rolls-Royce is a tiny bespoke manufacturer - it doesn't just churn out new models like Toyota does, you know.

What you missed before CES even started
