LOCAL PICKUP ONLY AT THIS TIME  - - - -  New Old Stock -    Nascar Winston Cup Ford Thunderbird " T-Bird " front end nose and rear end tail sections, being sold as a set.    Nose has some scratches and chips/nicks in the gel-coat surface from storage.  Nothing a minor amount of body filler and primer won't fix.    Was in this condition when I got it.   I have no idea what the " 6-1/2 " means on the tail, it also was written on there when I got it.   I bought these years ago as a set at a racer's auction.  They have been stored indoors the entire time I've owned them which is probaby 12+/-  years or so.   Time to let someone else get some good use out of them.   Vintage racers, show car builders, Nascar collectors, or the perfect man cave or bar decor.   Leave them as is or paint them like you want 'em.....    If these don't sell as a set, I might list them separately on ebay in the future...but prefer to sell as the set.    LOCAL PICKUP ONLY AT THIS TIME.    I have zero confidence that a shipping company could get these fragile items delivered without breaking them in some form or fashion, so I would rather let YOU pick them up and get them home safe and sound.  If you have someone like U-Ship that will package them and be responsible for them and you want to use them, I'll try to accommodate the pickup time with the shipper you send.   Buyer would be responsible for paying the shipping company.   Seller will not pay the shipping company.    Items are not leaving here until paid in full on PayPal.   If you live anywhere East of Texas and South of Ohio, then you can probably pick these items up here in the Birmingham, AL area in a few hours drive in your truck, van, or trailer.   If you win this auction, I will be glad to work with you to hold the item, if needed, for a few weeks to give you time to get here to pick it up.

Note: I also have a mid 1990's  Nascar Chevrolet LUMINA nose & tail (also 'new old stock') listed on ebay.

PayPal only.    Payment due within 7 days of auction's end.   Please ask if any questions.   Items sold in as is condition.  Thank you.

What makes EyesOn Design judging special?

Thu, 30 Apr 2009

One of the very unique features of the EyesOn Design car show, held annually at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, is the judging of a category of cars by a group of visually impaired judges - members of the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology's (DIO) adult support group. They meet monthly from September through June and, in early Spring, they are given a description of the various vehicle categories and a list of what cars will be in each of them. They then discuss their options and select a category that is of special interest to them.

Interactive media company 360° Revo and the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) has launched a web-based, interactive tour of the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Automobile enthusiasts worldwide who could not make it to the show – the press days of which ran from 8-9 February – will be able to tour the exhibitions and even go inside specific vehicles featured at this year's show. This is the first time the CATA, producer of the Chicago Auto Show, and 360° Revo has worked together and with the media company's technology comes the ability for online users to navigate and explore the auto show floor and visit individual exhibits.
