‘NOS’ SET (2) Trico Wiper Blades .......Eleven Inch (11”)

I have a set of NOS Vintage Trico Wiper Blades (11 inch).........................They are all New ‘NOS’, made in the USA, has never been used, and come in their original wax paper packaging. They came ‘bulk packed’ in a Trico master box. Inside the master box they were packed as you see I have photo’d.

They have been out of production for many years and are harder and harder to locate. These Wiper Blades have been indoors, in dry storage, & sealed in their master box for the last 50+ years. The rubber blade is soft & pliable.

This style / type of Wiper Blade to Wiper Arm connection is refereed by Trico as their Wrist Action Joint. These Blades accept a Wiper Arm with a Hook Style Wiper Arm tip. The Wiper Arm, hooks into the Wiper Blade and is held securely in place by a spring steel latch. (see photos 10-12)

The patent date inscribed into the Wiper Blade is 1937-1942. The words TRICO TRIPLE ACTION are also inscribed. (zoom into photos)

These fit vehicles from the late 1930’s – 1940’s

You will receive (2) Wiper Blades and their packaging as per the photos.

Always check your specification manuals to confirm the Trico TA-778-11 (11 inch) is correct for your vehicle. It is advised that you compare what is on your vehicle now, to what is in these photos.

My Vintage NOS Wipers may be between 30-50+ years of age. The boxes, which contains the Wipers, may show typical or various signs of shelf-wear as it is a paper product.  However, when you open the box you will find your Wipers, to truly be in, the real deal ‘NOS’ condition. This particular wiper arm has minor scuffs from rubbing within its box. (see all photos)

Concept Car of the Week: BMW Z13 (1993)

Fri, 30 Nov 2012

Rear-mounted engine, three seats, central driving position, 830 kg. What might sound like the ingredients for a fantastic little sports car apply in fact to the exceptionally compact and exciting BMW Z13 concept presented in 1993 at the Geneva motor show. BMW engineers and designers developed a car that combined practicality, innovation, safety, economy and, more importantly, it looks like a lot of fun.

Lord Mandelson needs to sort out car finance and the Scrappage Scheme before it's too late. [ad#ad-1] I’m not a huge fan of Government interference in the market. Whatever they do, they usually screw it up.
