All 1969 Camaro Z28s came with aluminum valve covers that had two 3"notches on each cover to clear the intake manifold and casting number 3932418 on the inside. They are the only ones GM made with no drippers in them. All repos have a 3 1/2" and a 5" notch on them that can be seen just by looking at your eng. These are the real deal that actually came on a 1969 Z28. They have never been restored. They will come with the original oil cap with the SM stamped in it, like new cond. We have also included new GM square head grommets part # 3989348 that were used on the 69 Z28 covers. We have had several sets of these 418 covers and these have the best finish of all of them.  At some time some one tried to fit roller rockers under them. Ground some small areas to clear, more than likely didn't work but it didn't cause a problem. Not a good idea as will they will not clear.  These also have a new GM emblem included part # 3946860. Most all these 418 covers if you could find a set have been cracked around the bolt holes and beat to hell. They can not be welded so it looks presentable. These are not for a person that is not serious about correct parts for their 69 Z28 and are an a limited budget. We can deal on these or take trade ins on Winter casted GM intake manifolds from 1962 to 1972. Trades, deals etc call Gary at 813 972-2129

They will be shipped insured for you.

The 2012 Toyota Yaris debuts in Japan as the Toyota Vitz The headline is probably a bit disingenuous. The car in the picture – as you’ve probably already worked out – is the new Toyota Vitz, the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) version of the Toyota Yaris. And it’s just been shown in Japan.

Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid by BlueMotion

The Touareg is the first VW group car to get a proper Hybrid, but it will soon find its way in to more cars, most notably the Porsche Panamera and the Porsche Cayenne, both of which we are promised Hybrids for. VW Touareg BlueMotion Hybrid - Lower emissions, lower fuel consumption and more power. Lovely!

Coming soon: A bigger, better autoweek.com

First, we want to thank all the readers who have helped make autoweek.com what it is today -- we've worked hard to ensure no nugget of cool car news falls through the cracks, and we've been rewarded by a 100 percent increase in visitors over the past two years. That said, we also know there's a lot about our site design that can be improved. Articles don't "pop" the way they should, the home page is far too busy, and our commenting system is…well, let's just say that anything relying on Facebook deserves a healthy dose of skepticism.
