Paid A LOT more for it than you're about to. To be honest, I don't want to sell it, it's my baby and I would love to restore and update it to present regulations, however going through a a financial hardship and am selling a lot of really nice possessions.
I came across this vehicle locally in the Stephen's City, Virginia area. Needs work and there are things that you will have to completely replace like the brake line fittings on the calipers etc, however it's in solid condition and not rotting. Kept out of the sun it's whole life. Only serious issue I can think of is the original motor MIGHT NOT run. I don't know because I never got that far with the restoration. It's not blown or anything, I'm sure it can be made to run, however the water pump and the engine block head have been removed. Still have them, it's just disconnected. Other than some insignificant items like speedometer etc, this thing is "complete" and is entirely salvageable and repairable. 'Ambulance chasers' face new controls
Mon, 09 Jun 2014THE CULTURE of "ambulance-chasing" lawyers and bogus whiplash claims could come to an end following new measures set out by the Government to crack down on insurance fraud. Lawyers will be banned from offering accident victims incentives such as money or free iPad computers to encourage them to make a claim and courts will be given powers to throw out compensation actions where claimants have been dishonest. The reforms by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) aim to tackle the rise of the compensation culture and reduce the amount being paid out unnecessarily by insurance companies - which can lead to higher premiums for honest customers.
Alfa Romeo will reportedly become standalone company
Wed, 30 Apr 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne plans to turn Alfa Romeo into a standalone company, Automotive News Europe reports. Marchionne is expected to announce wide-ranging plans for the brand on May 6 which will see Alfa Romeo become a stand-alone legal entity within Fiat-Chrysler, with a publicly disclosed profit and loss statement. Alfa Romeo is currently part of Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A., which also contains Lancia, Fiat Professional trucks and vans and the Abarth performance brand.
Vauxhall Ampera is 2012 European Car of the Year

The votes of the 59 jurors from 23 European countries ranked the Ampera first, from a shortlist comprising Citroen DS5, Fiat Panda, Ford Focus, Opel/Vauxhall Ampera/Chevrolet Volt, Range Rover Evoque, Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen Up.
