It was then professionally rebuilt with new rings, gaskets and seal kit installed. Our research has shown that this powerhead will fit at least a 2000 Mercury 225hp Optimax but may also fit other year models....Please do your own research or ask your local
mechanic or Mercury dealer.
It is ready for you to move the electronics and accessories off of your
motor onto this long block (block, crankshaft, pistons & cylinder
