New Kia Magentis / Kia Optima (2011) revealed
Sun, 14 Mar 2010Kia will reveal the 2011 Magentis/Optima at the New York Motor Show in April Hot on the heels of the sketches we saw of the 2011 Kia Magentis just before the Geneva Motor Show, we now get a photo of Kia’s take on the Hyundai i40 (well, a CGI anyway). Ford EcoSport, Kuga & Edge SUVs will drive Ford’s sales
Sun, 02 Jun 2013SUVs, like the Ford Kuga (pictured) will drive Ford sales in the future In 2010 we decided that the Ford Kuga was the inheritor of Ford’s ‘Family Car’ crown, as it offered everything a traditional family saloon does but in a more practical package. And the car buying public seem to agree. Ford’s latest Kuga is selling so well Ford has had to up production for Europe, and the new compact EcoSport SUV is about to take on the world, with Ford planning to roll it out in 60 countries across the globe in the next few years.
Marvel’s Captain America car by Daniel Simon [w/Video]
Tue, 04 Sep 2012Automotive designer and futurist Daniel Simon has had his vehicle design from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger' featured in a short animation. This 10-wheeler 1942 supercharged V16 Coupe, the personal car of Marvel's villain Johann Schmidt (the Red Skull), is 7,620 mm long and was inspired by cars such as Mercedes' 540K and the G4. The director's instructions for the car's size led to a truck chassis having to be used for the practical film version.
