HERE ARE TWO GROMMETS FOR THE FRONT END, INDIAN VERTICAL. THEY SIT AT THE TOP OF THE DUST COVER, AND UNDER THE TOP CLAMP. I COULDNT FIND GOOD ORIGINAL ONES SO I MOLDED SOME UP. THEY LOOK GOOD ON BIKE ( SEE PICTURE # 3) BUT ARE REPRODUCTION. FACTORY # ARE     1,479001.  THESE GROMMETS ALSO HAVE A LITTLE SLOT MOLDED INTO THE BOTTOM THAT IS FOR THE TOP OF THE DUST COVER TO FIT INTO ( AS ORIGINAL) TO SEAL OUT DUST AND MOISTURE. ONLY A FEW LEFT!          THANKS FOR LOOKING                                                                            BY THE WAY, SOMEONE SAID THAT YOU CAN USE THE  LATE MODEL CHIEF ONES ON THE VERTICAL...... WELL, I JUST MEASURED THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF A CHIEF DUST COVER...  MEASURES  ABOUT 1.470 AS OPPOSED TO 1.290 FOR THE INDIAN VERTICAL.       LOOKS LIKE A LOUSY FIT TO ME
