Up for auction is a Used Honda Gas Tank w/ gas cap and Petcock included. PERFECTLY STRAIGHT!!! Misc chips, scratches & Scuffs. Light Surface rust coming through paint on bare spots. No signs of any bondo under paint, no signs of any repairs!!! VERY Light surface rust inside, no flaking & IS NOT THICK BY ANY MEANS. RINSE, SAND & PAINT!!! ***Note*** I take the petcocks off of tanks to protect them during shipping. I don't know anything about this petcock! I am sure it would at least need disassembled and cleaned! This part fits: 1979-80 XL100S, 1979-82 XL125S, 1979-82 XL185S This part is from a friend of mine that used to have a cycle shop. Now he's a truck driver and wants to clear out his shop. It came out of a Semi trailer that was a dealer buy out in the early 90's. This is buy as is! Item needs to be paid in full by 72 hours of the end of auction or it will be relisted, unless other arrangements are made. I have excellent feedback and do not intend to ruin that! Volt, Leaf win top safety rating in crash test
Tue, 26 Apr 2011The 2011 Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf electric cars won the highest safety ratings in crash tests performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, putting them in the top 57 percent of models tested so far this year. About 80 of 140 vehicles tested among 2011-2012 models have received the Institute's "top safety pick," the group's award for state-of-the-art crash protection that exceeds federal safety rules, Institute spokesman Russ Rader said. The Volt and Leaf received a "good" rating -- the highest of four rankings -- on each of four crash tests, said the Institute, which is funded by auto insurers including State Farm, All-State and Geico.
Audi A3 g-tron revealed
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Audi has revealed the A3 g-tron Sportback ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, an A3 that runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and petrol. The A3 g-tron is powered by a tweaked version of Audi’s 1.4 litre TSI petrol engine which can run on both -gas and petrol, with the A3 g-tron normally using the petrol just for start-up and switching over to e-gas as soon as it’s running. Audi has provided two fillers under a common fuel flap – one for e-gas and one for petrol – with the A3 g-tron producing a total of 108bhp with the dual-fuel setup, enough to power the A3 g-tron to 62mph in 11 seconds.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe
Mon, 01 Jan 2007Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will unveil its new Phantom Drophead Coupe at the Detroit Auto Show on Sunday 7 January. A number of features first seen on 100EX, the experimental concept shown by Rolls-Royce in 2004, have been engineered into the new Phantom Drophead Coupe. Two of the most visually striking of these are the brushed steel bonnet and A-pillar and the teak decking for the rear hood cover.
