Venchurs Vehicles takes CNG pickup to Moab

Venchurs Vehicle Systems took its new bifuel Ford F-250 Park Ranger pickup to the rocks of Moab, Utah, for the Easter Jeep Safari. The truck won't climb the most difficult trails, but it did do everything a park ranger's truck might need to. “It's the only CNG in Moab,” said Pat Muldoon, vice president of product development engineering for Venchurs, though he couldn't possibly know that.

McLaren turns the corner, posts first profits

It's great news for the young supercar brand, which until now has lost money every year. McLaren's turnover was £285m, up from £267 in 2012, as it increased production towards its long-term goal of 4000 cars a year.

Mexico plant to build Honda Fit for U.S. market

Honda Motor Co. has confirmed it will build its Fit small car at its new plant in Mexico for export to the United States and other markets, as it expands its local production footprint to combat the Japanese yen's profit-eating strength. The plant, near Celaya, Guanajuato, will begin operation in 2014 with a capacity of 200,000 vehicles a year.
