Don’t you just hate losing your gas cap? Oppps, fill up and a quick drive away and then later find you have no gas cap! It may make the “check engine” light come on. It may allow water to enter the fuel system.

This listing is for one original Volvo gas filler neck cap. The part number on this green cap is 3514227.

This cap was removed from a 1990 Volvo Sedan and I believe that this part will properly fit all 1986-1993 Volvo 240s (sedan and wagon) .

Please check the fitment to ensure that it will work on your application. This cap may fit many other Volvo’s.

Shipping:

Many times shipping can cost a lot of money. Every attempt will be made to keep shipping costs to a minimum. I typically use the United States Postal Service to deliver ebay items. In most instances I will have the item in the hands of the Post Office within 24 hours as long as it is not a purchase made late on Friday or on Saturday. If you purchase more than one item I’ll gladly combine shipping!!

Packaging: In an attempt to keep weight down and shipping costs manageable I use cardboard boxes cut to size, shipping tubes, packing tape, envelopes, priority mail boxes modified to fit shapes, bubble wrap and many other items to package items. When your shipment arrives the packaging may not be the prettiest one you have ever seen but it will protect your purchase and keep your costs low. I trust you understand.

International buyers are welcome. Shipping costs to locations outside of the United States will be calculated at auction end and buyers outside of the United States agree to pay the shipping costs plus $1.50 handling fees to process the customs forms and to have the item delivered to the shipping source.
