Mini Clubvan announced, hipsters rejoice
Mon, 25 Jun 2012Mini is getting into the commercial space with the Clubvan, which has two seats, five doors and a flat floor for easy loading. Mini says the van is designed for both business and leisure cargo carrying. When the U.S.-bound Mini Clubvan arrives this fall, it will use the company's base engine for power, which means 121 hp from a 1.6-liter engine.

Design students from twenty-six schools around the world have been invited to design a World Car that visually identifies its cultural origins and, at the same time, has appeal, and can be sold throughout the world, in at least five countries on three continents. The vehicle should be easily recognized as coming from a particular culture.

Ferrari has been hosting a playday in Italy for print media to come and torment the Ferrari FF, to see if its deserves to be a real Ferrari despite its pseudo SUV, Shooting Brake styling. CAR Magazine sent along hack Jethro Bovingdon to fly the CAR flag in Italy, and put together a piece for the magazine and (fortunately for us) a video piece for the website.
