As expected, the 30 year M5 gets a tweaked version of the 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 found in the regular M5, but builds on the M5 Competition Package model by throwing an extra 25bhp in to the mix for a total of 592bhp (600PS).

OFFICIAL: 2014 BMW 2 Series The new BMW 2 Series has been leaking like a sieve for the last week or so, so BMW must be relieved it’s now official and out in the open. As you can’t have failed to notice, with a few exceptions from Italy, big cylinder engines are on the way out in favour of more efficient, and more frugal, forced induction engines with fewer cylinders. But it’s starting to look like Mercedes may be bucking the trend with slightly surprising plans to take a V12 version of the new SL to the New York Auto Show next month – the Mercedes SL 65 AMG.
