Fri, 08 Jan 2010The Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept will appear at the Detroit Motor Show It really does say something about the changing car landscape in the US that the reveal of a US hot hatch is something that people are sitting up and taking notice of. True, it may be badged a Chevy but this is a Daewoo Chevy, not a gas-guzzling big V8 Chevy. Still, never mind.

Sun, 30 May 2010The Range Rover Sport TDV8 Ultimate Update: Land Rover are on the ball despite it being a Bank Holiday weekend. They’ve been in touch to say there are no plans for a UK version of the RRS TDV8 Ultimate. So we know that Land Rover are going to plant a new 4.4 litre diesel in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport (and probably Jaguar in the new XJ TDV8 too).

The B-segment (for 1976, anyway) newcomer weighed in at a scant 1,998 pounds and carried an equally lightweight MSRP of $2,899. Farley described how the Chevette handled some of the rigors of testing, which included hauling four journalists and their camera equipment around the Black Lake testing facility in Milford, Mich.
