Geely's new Shanghai design studio at the center of four-studio operation
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Geely Group's new central Shanghai Design Center is the global hub of its four-studio design operations. The facility on Guozhan Road, Pudong New District was formerly the site of the Central American Union Pavilion during the 2010 Shanghai EXPO and was chosen for its potential for growth despite its downtown location. The 3,800 square meter studio will be home to around 110 staff – both local and international – over the coming months, as part of the company's ongoing recruitment drive as it strives to be seen as one of the leading Chinese players.
Alfa Romeo 4C Spider drops at the Geneva motor show

The soft top is scheduled to enter production in 2015, right about the time Alfa says it will return to the United States. The 4C gets Alfa's 1.75-liter turbocharged four, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
