It's probably the most celebrity-filled place on the planet - so it's no surprise that lots of well-known stars dropped in on the 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show. We saw dozens of names at the LA show, including world sprint champion Usain Bolt, who moonlights as Nissan's director of excitement when he's not smashing world records on the atheletics track.

President Barack Obama's second term likely will include a return to an agenda of support for electric vehicles and also could clear the way for new rules on tailpipe emissions and auto safety that his appointees have been eager to release. CCTV 'Spy cars' to be banned

CCTV "SPY CARS" used to catch people who park illegally is to be banned, the Government announced, marking a victory for drivers and shoppers. The move will rein in "greedy councils" who use the method of fining as a "cash cow", and bring to an end the "plague" of tickets being issued by post. Parking wardens will instead have to fix tickets directly to windscreens, making it illegal for councils to issue penalties to drivers using just the CCTV spy cars currently used for on-street parking enforcement.
