THIS IS A REMANUFACTURED 1.8 LITER TURBO ENGINE. THE ENGINE CODE IS AMB FOR TIPTRONIC/AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ONLY. WILL NOT WORK ON CARS WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

IT HAS BEEN TAKEN APART, CLEANED, AND INSPECTED. THE CYLINDERS HAVE BEEN HONED AND NEW RINGS INSTALLED. THE CRANKSHAFT HAS BEEN POLISHED, THE CONNECTING RODS HAVE BEEN CHECKED FOR SIZE AND ROUNDNESS AND NEW ROD AND MAIN BEARINGS INSTALLED. THE CYLINDER HEAD HAS BEEN RECONDITIONED AND ASSEMBLED WITH NEW SEALS. THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REASSEMBLED WITH  NEW HEAD GASKET, NEW OIL PUMP, NEW FRONT AND REAR SEALS. ALL PARTS OUT OF TOLERANCE HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REASSEMBLED FROM OIL PAN TO VALVE COVER. COMPLETE AS SEEN IN PHOTOS. WILL FIT 2000-2005 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT AND AUDI A4. SHIPPING WILL BE $200  IN THE LOWER 48 STATES OR YOU CAN PICK IT UP IN PHILA 19147. GM posts quarterly net income of $1.96 billion

General Motors Co., in its final financial snapshot before next week's initial public offering of stock, posted third quarter net income of $1.96 billion on revenues of $34.06 billion. The results, released Wednesday, were in line with a forecast issued last week. GM now has earned $4.16 billion on revenues of $98.71 billion through three straight profitable quarters this year--a dramatic swing after five consecutive annual losses.

New 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-class features more power, enhanced fuel economy

Mercedes-Benz will introduce a new M-class crossover in September with a curvier exterior, more power and slightly better fuel economy. In the United States, the 2012 M-class will be offered beginning with two models -- the gasoline ML350 V-6 and the ML350 Bluetec diesel. Both models will feature four-wheel drive.
