THIS IS A REMANUFACTURED 1.8 LITER TURBO ENGINE. THE ENGINE CODE IS AMB FOR TIPTRONIC/AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ONLY. WILL NOT WORK ON CARS WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

IT HAS BEEN TAKEN APART, CLEANED, AND INSPECTED. THE CYLINDERS HAVE BEEN HONED AND NEW RINGS INSTALLED. THE CRANKSHAFT HAS BEEN POLISHED, THE CONNECTING RODS HAVE BEEN CHECKED FOR SIZE AND ROUNDNESS AND NEW ROD AND MAIN BEARINGS INSTALLED. THE CYLINDER HEAD HAS BEEN RECONDITIONED AND ASSEMBLED WITH NEW SEALS. THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REASSEMBLED WITH  NEW HEAD GASKET, NEW OIL PUMP, NEW FRONT AND REAR SEALS. ALL PARTS OUT OF TOLERANCE HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REASSEMBLED FROM OIL PAN TO VALVE COVER. COMPLETE AS SEEN IN PHOTOS. WILL FIT 2000-2005 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT AND AUDI A4. SHIPPING WILL BE $200  IN THE LOWER 48 STATES OR YOU CAN PICK IT UP IN PHILA 19147. College Exhibition: Cleveland Institute of Art Spring Show 2006

The annual Spring Show has been a tradition at The Cleveland Institute of Art in for over 15 years. The event started as an exhibition of senior transportation design work, but quickly evolved into an all-inclusive design exhibition for cars, products, toys, furniture, interior design and communication design. All design students are invited to create displays of their work, with sophomores and juniors focusing on obtaining internships, while graduates vie for full-time positions.

Alex Mair, retired head of GM technical staff, Pontiac and GMC, dies

Alex Mair, former group executive in charge of General Motors' technical staffs and general manager of the automaker's Pontiac and GMC divisions, died Sunday in Orange City, Fla. He was 91. Mair was named group executive of GM's technical staffs in November 1978 and remained in that position until he retired in 1986.

Nissan Juke-R (2012) goes into production

  Nissan has announced that its Juke-R prototype will enter limited production on a build-to-order basis. Yes, really. The Juke-R is the result of the Nissan Europe Technical Centre in Cranfield teaming-up with UK motorsport engineering firm RML to stuff the powertrain of a Nissan GTR into a Nissan Juke bodyshell to create 'the world's fastest crossover'.
