Aston Martin finally reveals official V12 Zagato pictures
Thu, 09 Feb 2012AM finally releases official photos of the production V12 Zagato The Aston Martin V12 Zagato finally gets its production car debut in Kuwait next week, and Aston manage to release a few official photos. It does seem odd that when AM has published the brochure for the Aston Martin V12 Zagato online (admittedly you had to hunt it out), complete with a fair number of photos, that they hadn’t got round to releasing any new official photos of the V12 Zagato to an eager fan base. Lotus explosion: Elise, Esprit, Elan, Elite & Eterne (2010)
Thu, 30 Sep 2010It’s only a few days since Lotus shocked us with details of the all-new Lotus Elite – a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 GT with a folding hardtop, the engine up front, and all-aluminium construction. Now, at the 2010 Paris motor show, the Norfolk firm is unveiling four more cars: Elise, Elan, Esprit and Eterne. On sale in 2015, the Elise is furthest from production, but we already know it will be a radical shift from today’s car.
Opel/Vauxhall teases Cascada mid-size convertible
Wed, 05 Sep 2012Opel/Vauxhall has given us a sneak peek of its new mid-size convertible, the Cascanda, which effectively replaces the Astra Twin Top. The Cascanda features a full-size fabric roof that can be opened or closed with one button up to speeds of 30mph and is the latest model to shun a folding hardtop in favor of the lighter and more practical soft option. The company claims this is its first D-segment cabrio for more than 70 years but, unlike them, we haven't forgotten the Cavialier Convertible of the 1980s (see pic).
