2012 Lexus IS-F gets chassis changes
Sat, 13 Aug 20112012 Lexus IS-F gets a more comfortable suspension Every family has a black sheep, and the Lexus IS-F is the black sheep for Toyota’s posh brand. Unlike the LFA – which pretends to be nothing other than a supercar – the IS-F does a very good impression of a posh rep-mobile. Mercedes S-Class AMG Sport Edition – it’s another S-Class run-out special
Mon, 18 Feb 2013The Mercedes S-Class AMG Sport Edition is another ‘final’ S Class model with extra equipment as the W221 comes to the end of its shelf life. The current Mercedes S-Class (W221) has been with us since 2006, despite which it’s still a fine car (and a great secondhand buy), but it’s about to be replaced by an all new S-Class. That’s why S-Class sales are falling and why Mercedes has rolled out the S-Class Grand Edition and CL Grand Edition to persuade buyers that a new S-Class (or S-Class coupe, in the case of the CL) is still a good place to park a sizeable chunk of change.
Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept heading for Detroit
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept (pictured) heading for Detroit The original VW Beetle was a perfect candidate for a Dune Buggy, and many old VWs were converted to blast across sand dunes around the world. VW had a bash at their own Dune Buggy back in 2000, but now, ahead of a reveal at the Detroit Auto Show next week, we have what looks like a buggy from VW that could actually be heading for production – the Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept. VW has revealed a single image of their Beetle Dune Concept (above) that shows a jacked-up Beetle with big wheels and tyres, a ski rack on the back and a bit of cosmetic titivation.
