Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (2012) - the 599 supercar successor

Wed, 29 Feb 2012

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta – it's Italian for the new 599 successor. This is the new front-engined V12 supercar from Maranello, ready to be unveiled next week at the 2012 Geneva motor show in a glitzy three-layer Rosso Berlinetta paint colour. As the daddy of the Ferrari range, the F12 Berlinetta is the most powerful road car ever produced by the Italians.

Porsche 911 50 Years Edition celebrates the 911′s half century

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

The Porsche 911 50 Years Edition (pictured) celebrates half a century of the 911 If you’d guessed how much the Porsche 911 would change in the coming years when it was first launched in 1963, there’s a pretty strong chance you’d have decided the shape would change out of all recognition and the engine would move from the back to the front. But you’d have been wrong. The Porsche 911, perhaps more than any other car ever made, has evolved over its 50 years of life instead of being replaced by a new and ‘better’ car.

Toyota Auris Touring Sports: Paris 2012

Thu, 27 Sep 2012

Toyota has revealed the first estate version of the Auris – the 2013 Toyota Auris Touring Sports – at the Paris Motor Show. It’s a sensible move by Toyota to add an estate version to a car that competes in a segment where 25 per cent of all cars sold are estates, and the Auris Estate looks a decent offering. The Auris Touring Sports sits on the same 2600mm wheelbase as the Auris hatch, but it gets and extra 285mm longer thanks to the new shed on the back, a shed that offers what looks like a decent carrying capacity )although Toyota aren’t actually telling us how much ‘stuff’ the Auris estate can carry).
