Citroën designer teases production Cactus on French TV
Tue, 29 Oct 2013Citroën has given us a first glimpse of its production C4 Cactus model on a French television show. Viewers of TF1's ‘Auto Moto' program saw its presenter briefly lift the cover from the car's side, which showed that the unique ‘Airbumps' - made from a spongy material that protects against everyday wear and tear - have been retained, while a B-pillar and standard door handles have been added. An interior digital render was also presented, showing a cabin that's largely unchanged from the concept, which was unveiled at this year's Frankfurt motor show.
Cluttered-up cars failing MOT test
Wed, 19 Mar 2014CLUTTERED-UP cars are causing thousands of drivers to fail the MOT test. Some vehicles are not passing the test as the screenwash is not topped up, the survey by Whatcar.com found. Test centres are also failing vehicles as they have stickers on the windscreen that block the driver's view, while some drivers even turn up for a test sporting no number plates.
Nissan electric car Leaf starts retailing next year in five markets
Thu, 06 Aug 2009Just days after pulling the wraps off of its prototype Leaf electric vehicle in Japan, Nissan Motor Co. says it has committed to an early launch of 5,000 sales in the United States, starting late next year. The plan will require Nissan North America to begin retailing the Leaf at U.S.
