Porsche Panamera interiors revealed
Thu, 12 Feb 2009The interior of the Porsche Panamera - a big improvement on the outside styling [ad#ad-1] The Porsche Panamera saga has been going on for as long as the Aston Martin Rapide saga. Endless spy shots, dribbles of information and finally, last month, the first official photos of the car. But now we have official photos of the interior, which should now pretty much complete the information we’re likely to get ahead of the car’s official launch in the UK on September 12th, except for prices, which I’m sure will surface before long.
Audi Q5 concept is killer
Tue, 19 May 2009Audi has provided the strongest hint yet that it plans to crown its Q5 lineup with an RS model by revealing a one-off, 408-hp, supercharged 3.0-liter V6 concept version of its compact SUV. The vehicle’s public premiere comes this weekend at the annual Woerthersee meet in Austria. Although Audi officials are playing down the importance of the custom concept, insiders have told AutoWeek that it was constructed to provide customer feedback on a possible performance-oriented version of the Q5, the likes of which would almost certainly form part of the company’s future North American lineup.
2014 Mercedes C-Class: OFFICIAL – and it looks like a proper baby S-Class
Mon, 16 Dec 2013The 2014 Mercedes C-Class (pictured) looks like a proper baby S-Class The 2014 (or 2015 if you’re in the US) Mercedes C-Class has finally been officially revealed ahead of its debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month, and it looks to be a convincing take on a proper scaled-down S-Class. With Mercedes launching a more credible range of compact cars beneath the C-Class – with the new A-Class and CLA – targeting younger, funkier buyers, Mercedes has taken the C-Class from the ‘entry-’level’ real Mercedes to become a properly grwon up luxury saloon, just smaller than its E-Class and S-Class siblings. The new C-Class is wider, longer and has a longer wheelbase – with most of the extra 3 inches in the wheelbase benefiting the rear passengers – yet it’s lighter and more dynamic than the model it replaces, thanks in no small part to an aluminium hybrid body that now has up to 50 per cent aluminium in its panels.
