This came off a running, 2001 Kawasaki VN800B Vulcan Classic with 17,879 known miles on it. Please scroll down and watch the videos of the bike running, parts working, etc. prior to disassembly. General Motors has been sued by the owner of a Chevrolet Impala who claims the company recalled police versions of the sedan to fix a tire-wear issue but did not recall civilian Impalas for the same problem. According to the suit, filed in Detroit, GM issued a recall for police Impalas in 2008 for faulty spindle rods, which misaligned the rear wheels and led to premature tire wear. GM told dealers to replace the spindle rods, realign the rear wheels and replace the tires.

General Motors said Wednesday that it will be donating the first production model of the 2014 Cadillac CTS V-Sport to the SAE Foundation. The car will then be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson later this year with the proceeds going to the foundation's science, technology, engineering and mathematics student programs. The CTS V-Sport, or as Cadillac officially spells it, Vsport, was revealed earlier this year at the New York Auto Show.
