Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed on the road A prod on the button yields a turbine-like wail from the starter as it breathes life in to the 12 cylinders. That the background growl of the W12 is audible is a pleasant surprise; Bentley has chosen not to make the Speed experience a silent one. A prod on the throttle is enough to entice the Speed to leave its stationary position with something very close to instant acceleration.

Lamborghini’s driving simulator for the Huracan (pictured) The Gallardo’s long-awaited replacement – the Lamborghini Huracan – finally arrived just before Christmas after a long and tedious tease. But it was worth the wait and putting up with Lamborghini’s feeble attempts at a viral tease. With looks that draw the Huracan in to the family design of the Aventador, permanent 4WD and 602bhp from its 5.2 litre V10, the Huracan promises a decent fight for the Ferrari 458 and McLaren 12C (or should that be the McLaren 650S?) with 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds and over 200mph.

Mobility Ventures builds dealer network for its wheelchair-accessible vehicles

Mobility Ventures LLC, the current builder of the MV-1, says it has now signed more than 50 dealers. The MV-1 is the only American-built vehicle designed from the ground up for people with mobility challenges; it meets or exceeds the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines as well as all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). Last year, the original designer and builder of the MV-1 -- the Vehicle Production Group LLC -- was acquired by South Bend, Ind.-based AM General.
