Seat IBZ concept car at 2009 Frankfurt motor show

Although compact estate cars are small fry in the UK, they're quite big sellers in parts of continental Europe and Seat is keen to exploit that. The Ibz will spawn a production Ibiza estate in summer 2010, likely to trade closely off the edgy style of this concept.

Mercedes-Benz revives its classic Gullwing two-seater as the SLS

Mercedes-Benz's gorgeous 300SL--or Gullwing, as it is affectionately now known--has been reborn five decades after the iconic two-seater first sent the motoring world into a spin at the New York auto show in 1954. Rolls-Royce bolsters custom-car operation to meet higher demand

Rolls-Royce is expanding its "Bespoke" customization enterprise to keep up with an influx of buyers wishing to determine the final strokes on their vehicular masterpieces. The British luxury-car manufacturer will double the headcount for its Bespoke team by the end of the year. More than 50 designers, engineers and project managers will run the operation to meet growing customer demand.
