AC Schnitzer shows off polizei-spec ACS4 2.8i Coupe

The Essen Motor Show is underway. Essen is Europe's version of SEMA, with hundreds of tuning companies showing their wares. And for this year's event, BMW tuner AC Schnitzer has rolled out its version of the 2014 4-series, dubbed the ACS4 2.8i Coupe, in polizei spec, no less.

What might sound like the ingredients for a fantastic little sports car apply in fact to the exceptionally compact and exciting BMW Z13 concept presented in 1993 at the Geneva motor show. BMW engineers and designers developed a car that combined practicality, innovation, safety, economy and, more importantly, it looks like a lot of fun.

New De Tomaso Pantera at Frankfurt

What is thought to be the new Pantera leaving the De Tomaso facility So far all we’ve officially had from the new De Tomaso, now run by ex Fiat man Gian Mario Rossignolo, is the not particularly well-received De Tomaso Deauville at Geneva in the Spring. It seemed an odd route for the revived De Tomaso to go, and an odd choice of name. The Deauville seems to be halfway between the (poor-selling) BMW 5-Series GT and a Porsche Cayenne.
