“Complete set of Crankshaft and matching main caps For rebuild ONLY. Cylinder #1 had a lot of wear to crankshaft and shaft will need some work. Head gasket was not bad and no burned valves. Engine was not overheating and head is not warped. Engine was pulled due to crank wear and rod knock. SEE the many pictures.”

Taken out of a 2003 GMC ENVOY XL, was not burning oil or antifreeze, cylinder head gasket was not blown or leaking.  Engine had crankshaft and rod problems on #1 cylinder. (Rod knock and wear)   NO other parts included.  Only what is shown the crankshaft and main caps.  Many other parts available and some will be listed also.
May fit other years and models but we make no guarantees.

Today sees the start of the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed with the Moving Motor Show ahead of the weekend’s real petrolhead fun, and McLaren are out in force. The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C will be on show for the first time complete with its extra 25bhp, programmable engine note, remote passenger door opening and extra trim options.

Swinton Insurance claim quote requests for bigger cars are down 20% Swinton say that it has seen an increase of 25% in quote requests for smaller engined cars in the last six months and a decrease of 20% in car insurance quotes for cars over 1.8 litres (which, short of the big-engined cars being scrapped begs the question: What’s happened to the big-engined cars? Did they just disappear, or are they just not being insured?). But this got us thinking.
