Lamborghini might jump into four-door fray

Is Lamborghini preparing a four-door-fighter to take on the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Rapide--perhaps along the lines of the Estoque? Maybe. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann again raised that possibility recently.

Hummer sale agreed

GM has a Memorandum of Understanding in place to sell Hummer to a 'Mystery' buyer GM are reporting that they have reached a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’  with an unnamed buyer to take Hummer of their hands later in the year. MOUs are not the strongest tool in the arsenal when a sale is being arranged, which tends to indicate that either the buyer likes the idea but won’t commit yet, or they are still in ‘Fund-Raising’ mode. Who's Where: High-profile re-organization at General Motors

General Motors' design division has been re-organized in a spate of high-profile restructuring that comes into effect on 1 August. In Europe, David Lyon replaces Mark Adams as Vice President of Design for Opel/Vauxhall in Rüsselsheim while Adams moves Stateside to become Executive Director, Global Cadillac and Buick Design. Ken Parkinson, currently Director North American Exterior Design/Global Architecture Strategy and Chevrolet Brand Champion will become Executive Director, Global Chevrolet and GMC Design.
