Version I is the ultimate fix that completely disregards the plastic. It consists of a one piece solid aluminium door foamed with automotive approved foam. It also contains a solid aluminium driver that allows the drive motor to drive the door. In most cases you must take the housing out of the vehicle to replace the drivers against the fire wall on the vehicle

Version II is offered at a lesser cost because we do not supply the driver that allows the drive motor to drive the door. We have designed a one piece solid aluminium door that excepts the OEM plastic driver that you must re-use from your heater box. Unlike the hollow plastic doors that fail the driver seldom fails. The solid plastic driver is contained in our aluminium door. Testing has proven that the motor that drives our aluminium door with the re-used plastic driver dose not have enough power to break the driver. And our doors have never failed!!! This door fix can be replaced by thru dash repairs or complete out of vehicle repairs. THIS DOOR CAN BE REPLACED WITH ANY INSTRUCTIONS THAT OEM DOORS CAN!!! It’s got more power, trick tyres, adjustable dampers, a titanium exhaust, and with that armoury Renault is firing a warning shot across the bows of forthcoming mega hatches like the Honda Civic Type R and Vauxhall Astra VXR Extreme. Renaultsport has worked on the regular Megane 265's turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine to find an extra 10bhp, so peak power is now 271bhp (or 275PS, hence the name) delivered at 5500rpm.
