Fisker goes to China's Wanxiang
Mon, 17 Feb 2014China's Wanxiang Group won an auction for Fisker Automotive Holdings Inc., the maker of luxury plug-in hybrid cars, with a $149.2 million bid, almost six times what Fisker was seeking when it filed for bankruptcy. Wanxiang topped Hybrid Tech Holdings during the auction, which began on Wednesday and went through 19 rounds of bidding, with an offer that includes $126.2 million in cash and $8 million in assumed liabilities, Fisker said Friday in a statement. Technicon Design to present Roding Roadster at CDN Car Design Night
Fri, 02 Mar 2012Technicon Design is all set to present the Roding Roadster – the first production car developed for Roding Automobile – at Car Design News’ Car Design Night in Geneva on Tuesday evening. The car is the result of collaboration between the two companies after Roding contacted Technicon Design at the beginning of 2011 with the task of redesigning its prototype sports car. Roding developed a prototype of its Roadster concept in 2008, originally designed at the university in Munich, and displayed at the Frankfurt motor show three years ago.
