Seat's Mondeo rival (2007): first official pictures
Wed, 30 May 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 30 May 2007 09:41 Seat launches a Mondeo rival Volkswagen's Spanish outpost is to expand its range upwards, entering the hotly contested Mondeo class for the first time. There's no name yet for the newcomer, but one badge in contention is Bolero, the name of its 1998 sports saloon concept. Details are sketchy at this stage, but Seat has confirmed it will offer a saloon and estate version, and they'll roll into dealership in 2009.
McLaren 12C Spider Neiman Marcus Edition. Christmas is coming.
Wed, 10 Oct 2012This year’s special Christmas car from Neiman Marcus is a special edition of the McLaren 12C Spider with lunch with Ron Dennis thrown in. Last year Neiman Marcus offered the Ferrari FF but this year it’s the turn of the Brits again (the Neiman Marcus Christmas car was the Jaguar XJ in 2009) with the new McLaren 12C Spider, the convertible version of the MP4-12C (which, it appears, McLaren now want us to call just the 12C). The Neiman Marcus 12C Spider is a bog standard car (not that there’s much ‘bog standard’ about 616bhp and a 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds) in Volcano Red, but it does come with the prerequisite of a Neiman Marcus car by offering something money can’t easily buy (although it self evidently can) – dinner with Ron.
Peugeot RC hybrid concept
Wed, 20 Aug 2008Peugeot is poised to reveal the latest in its ‘RC' range of concept cars at the Paris Motor Show in October. Continuing on from the RC Spade and RC Diamond concept cars unveiled at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, the as yet unnamed concept also follows on from the 908 RC V12 diesel concept of 2006. Designed by a team led by Peugeot head of design Jérôme Gallix, the four door, four seat sedan is claimed to be an accessible and versatile eco-efficient GT coupé.
