PLEASE READ:

* Many Late Model radios, computers, and modules are designed to work in conjunction with your car's VIN #. Consequently, you may need your dealer to reprogram and the cost will be the buyers responsibility.   If the theft lock code is equipped and activated, it is your responsibility to obtain the code from dealer. Sometimes, done as a courtesy, many dealers do charge for this service. The theft lock code is not always activated, but we cannot guarantee it.

*The reference to "VIN" is the 8th digit read from left to right and refers to what engine option the vehicle came with.  The "OPT" (option code/RPO code) refers to specific option code the vehicle came with.  These will often be included in our listing (when relevant) as it is used by our computerized inventory system to insure proper fitment.  Please make sure the "VIN" or "OPT" match when included in the listing.  The VIN and RPO codes are shown on the "service parts indentification" tag typically located on the trunklid, spare tire cover, glovebox, or door and appear in alphabetical order.  If you do not see the 3 digit option code on your tag or the 8th digit of the vin doesnt match,  the part will most likely not fit.   Please make sure the "VIN" or "OPT" match when included in the listing.  Please call or email before bidding if you need help making sure you order the correct part.

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster (2009): first official pictures

Fri, 03 Jul 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 July 2009 16:30 Pagani has unveiled a roadster version of its most radical road-legal Zonda ever, the Cinque. Just five Cinque Roadsters will be made, and with no roof, a 669bhp V12 engine, and a price tag broaching £1.1m (plus taxes) it's pretty special. Think again - and if Horacio Pagani wants to build 5 more gorgeous Cinques, this time without a roof so you can really hear that 7.3-litre V12 wail, then who are we to argue. There's a longer front spoiler, a flat undertray and diffuser, plus a new rear wing, all of which is enough to create the same 750kg of downforce at 186mph that Pagani claims for the coupe version.

Local Motors XC2V Competition

Tue, 15 Feb 2011

Local Motors, producer of the Rally Fighter, has teamed up with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to host a design contest. The partnership, which was made possible within the Adaptive Vehicle Makes initiative, aims to create an Experimental Crowd-derived Combat-support Vehicle (XC2V), exploring the potential of a crowd-sourced design for military use. The initiative to develop a crowd-derived vehicle body design for the US military was created in an effort to decrease the time and developmental costs associated with creating niche military vehicles.

The Leko – a new car from IKEA? – Not a chance!

Tue, 24 Mar 2009

A new site claims IKEA is about to launch a car - on the 1st April! [ad#ad-1] The latest silly site to go (semi) viral online this week purports to be teasing a new car from IKEA, that hell of  a flat-pack, windowless, clockless shopping experience where the only instructions you get for assembling your insane purchase are a set of pictures on a big sheet of paper, that seemingly have no resemblance to the contents of the package you’ve been stupefied in to buying. Now on the face of it this is perhaps plausible.
