Audi Urban Concept again, this time with photos and detail

Audi Urban Concept EV- just a posh toy car It looks like we may have to dub the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show the EV Go-Kart show, such is the proliferation of fun – if ultimately rather pointless – electric go-karts. And today, just ahead of its debut, we get real photos and decent detail on the Audi Urban Concept EV. We’ve had the teasers for the Audi Urban Concept and a set of CGI images a few weeks ago, but now we get photos of the real car (is car the right word?) and some detail about its powertrain and abilities.

Equus Bass 770: America’s all-new muscle car

What you’re looking at here is quite possibly the ultimate ‘pony car’ – a brand-new slab of American muscle heavily tinged with retro flair, six years in the making. It’s called the Equus Bass 770, it’s powered by a 640hp 6.2-litre suprecahrged V8, and you can buy one priced from $253,000. Which is around £157,000.

Exhibition: Taxis of the World

The 'Taxis du Monde' exhibit recently held at the Paris Motor Show displayed a total of 40 taxis from 20 cities around the world, illustrating the evolution and diverse needs of the past, the present and even the future. Renault’s Type AG from 1913 is one historical example. One of the first Parisian taxis, it became known as the “Taxi of the Marne” after 1300 examples transported 6000 men to head off the German army in the first world war.
