I have an Engine and Trans. from a 2002 Jetta 1.8t with Auto Trans.  All engine components and accessories are included.  Car was driven for about 25 min and parked for about 10-15 min. when someone noticed that there was smoke inside the interior of the vehicle.  The glove box and HVAC equipment were the only thing damaged.  I have parted this car out and I am selling the parts that I don't need for my car.  I have a bunch of other parts from this vehicle as well, mainly big ticket items Suspension, Doors with glass, Hood, Fenders, Grill, and some other misc. items.

I would rather sell locally but would be willing to ship or deliver for a fee that must be agreed upon first.

All items are for sale locally and I reserve the right to end early.

My name is Chris and my number is 314-Six Two Three-7395, call or txt for more information.

Gurney cars lead record list of entries at Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion

Tue, 16 Mar 2010

The acceptance letters went out this week for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the vintage racing weekend formerly known as the Monterey Historics, and it looks as if you'll get your money's worth out of this year's event. While previous years usually featured about 400 or so cars, the 2010 running of the renamed Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, managed now by SCRAMP, will feature 520 vintage entries. Leading the pack is what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime collection of 35 cars either designed, built or raced by the great Dan Gurney, this year's honoree.

Peugeot 308 with 3-Cylinder engine sets new Fuel Economy Record. Sort of.

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

The new Peugeot 308 managed 99.1mpg in a fuel economy run in Spain Fuel economy records are a bit like official economy figures – they have little relevance in the real world. But that doesn’t stop car makers wanting a few headlines proving just how economical their cars can be, and that’s exactly what Peugeot has done with a fuel economy run in a new 308 fitted with their new 130bhp 1.2-liter PureTech three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. But instead of running the 308 in the real world, Peugeot chose to take their car off to the Almeria circuit in Spain – under the auspices of the UTAC (Union Technique de l’Automobile, Motocycle et Cycle) – to set a new record for fuel economy and distance driven on a full tank.
