The new 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport – the car that will replace the British firm’s Freelander small SUV – will feature third-row seating. As a result, the Disovery Sport will be more practical than the car it replaces, offering room for seven people in a “5+2” seating arrangement.

Land Rover has confirmed the third row of seats will be fitted as standard in the UK, as highlighted by the new prototype vehicle’s clever camouflage wrap.

This is the new Chevrolet Cruze, the compact four-door saloon that that arrives early next year to try and steal some sales from the Focus, Astra and Golf. Due to officially bow in at the Paris motor show next month, the Cruze signposts Chevrolet’s distinctive new design style, and its pronounced split grille is expected to be a key visual feature on new Beat, Volt and Camaro models. Hmm.

Didn’t we see this last month? Two months ago actually, but the new Hyundai i10 city car makes its official show debut at Bologna, and CAR was given access to the car the night before the show so we could have a proper poke round it. Hyundai officials also let slip that the Genesis saloon will be shown at the start of 2008 in Detroit, while the production Coupe will be previewed at the New York Motor Show in March 2008.
