2012 BMW X3 Update: UK specs and prices added at the bottom – thanks BMW UK. The new BMW X3 is turning in to something of a star for BMW, as we discovered when we recently reviewed the latest X3, but the reveal of the 2012 BMW X3 X3 xDrive35d for the UK should make the X3 even more appealing. BMW has actually revealed two new X3s for 2012, but the UK won’t be getting the X3 xDrive20i because BMW UK has decreed that X3s in the UK are going to be diesel only.

BMW Museum puts spotlight on history of coupes and convertibles

The BMW Museum in Munich is running a special exhibition that takes a closer look at the automaker's history of coupe and convertibles. The "Line of Beauty--The Big BMW Coupes and Convertibles" exhibit runs from Oct. 28 until the end of September 2012.

JLR's UK restructuring is on track despite the stories in this weekend's press Back in September, JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) announced that it intended closing one of its Midlands factories as part of a long-term plan to breathe new life in to the future of JLR. We dutifully reported that but confess we took the easy ‘Bad News’ tack on the story. It was obvious; JLR are closing a factory ergo bad news.
