Magazine names Ford's Alan Mulally top CEO

Ford Motor Co. CEO Alan Mulally has been named CEO of the Year by Chief Executive magazine. What set Mulally apart, according to the selection committee, was not only leading the turnaround of an American icon without the government bailout funds given to its competitors, but also a mix of other behaviors and accomplishments.

Audi has officially revealed the Sportback, adding yet another model to the A5 range. Blurring the line between a sedan, a coupe and a conventional wagon, the emotional, progressive design measures 4711mm long and 1854mm wide, yet stands only 1391mm high (12mm shorter than a Mercedes CLS). Chevrolet touts the 2012 Sonic's 40-mpg highway rating

With an EPA-rated 40 mpg on the highway, Chevrolet is calling its 2012 Sonic one of the most fuel-efficient small cars on the market. Chevy says that 40-mpg rating puts the Sonic right on par with the 2012 Ford Fiesta and the Hyundai Accent in terms of eco-friendliness. In city driving, the 1.4-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine gets 29 mpg.
