This is a headlight taken out of a 2005 Skidoo GSX 600 sdi snowmobile Good used condition, but does have one mounting tab cracked off. shown in photos. Ready to install. All parts are inspected and deemed usable unless otherwise noted in description. Parts may require some cleaning and adjustments for proper installation. Engine parts should be properly cleaned and lubricated prior to assembly. ALL PARTS SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY AN EXPERIENCED MECHANIC. But despite their advantages there's the big downside of driver distraction, something user interface designer Matthaeus Krenn believes he has solved with his UI. Unlike most other touchscreens, Krenn's interface isn't organized into menus and small, hard-to-hit buttons, but instead makes use of multi-touch gestures, reducing the accuracy and attention needed to operate key functions.
BMW works hard to avoid gas-guzzler tax
Thu, 05 Aug 2010BMW AG hopes to get out from under the gas-guzzler taxes that are tacked on to the sticker prices of some of its high-performance models in the United States. Jim O'Donnell, president of BMW of North America, says the company is studying fuel-efficiency improvements that could eliminate the gas-guzzler taxes on its vehicles as early as the launch of their redesigns in the next few years. The 2010 550i GT incurs a $1,000 gas-guzzler fee, for example.
Eagle builds a new E-type speedster
Mon, 27 Jul 2009By Alex Michaelides First Official Pictures 27 July 2009 17:07 Jaguar E-type specialist Eagle has unveiled the Eagle E-type speedster at the Salon Privé prestige motor show in London. The speedster, commissioned by enthusiast Dr Rick Velaj, uses a standard 1966 E-type as its base. Eagle then rebuilt it to a new sky-high specification, clad it in a one-off aluminium bodyshell, fitted it with its Supersport options (stiffer suspension, uprated brakes and modern tyres) and strapped in its own highly developed 4.7-litre straight six.
