You are bidding on a Used OEM ENGINE COMPUTER ECU/ECM removed from a 2005 Saab 9-3 Sedan with the 2.0L Turbo Engine. This Unit should be compatible with SOME but not ALL Saab 9-3s built between 2003 and 2006 that have the 2.0L Turbo powered engine. The Saab Part number is 55352571. In order to make sure that this Unit meets your needs, you must match Part Numbers. This Engine Computer came out of a car that was junked because of a Bad Transmission. This car had less than 110000 miles on the odometer. It was in the Salvage Yard less than a day when this Unit was removed. The Engine could be started up. That is the only check that could be performed on this Unit. Refer to the Hi Res Pics which show this Item in great detail. What you see is what you get. The ECU will require reprogramming to work properly in your car. All Pins on the Input Receptacle are Perfectly Straight. Volvo gives T6 engine the Polestar treatment
Fri, 02 Dec 2011Just weeks after announcing its Polestar performance kits for the T5-engined cars, Volvo is now offering packages for the XC60, S60 and XC70 models fitted with its turbocharged six-cylinder engine. The T6 Polestar software package adds 25 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque, bringing totals to 325 hp and 355 lb-ft, respectively. Volvo says the added power won't result in greater fuel consumption, as the tuning of the engine only increases power when needed--though we'd imagine most drivers will feel the need often enough to significantly affect mileage.
Saab appoints North American administrator, prospects darken

The move was announced on Wednesday afternoon by Saab North American COO Tim Holbeck as the company’s future remains uncertain. Autostyle Design Competition 2013: The Results
Thu, 10 Oct 2013The results of the tenth annual Autostyle 2013 design competition are in, with three Italian and two French design students earning this year's top plaudits. The contest challenged students from eight schools from around the world to create a custom vehicle from a Citroën Revolte concept, Suzuki SX4, Audi Crosslane, Land Rover Defender DC100 concept or Maserati Ghibli. The schools involved were: Creapole; Istituto Europeo di Design (IED); Institut Supérieur du Design (ISD); Istituto Superiore Scienza dell'Automobile di Modena (ISSAM); Politecnico di Milano; Royal College of Art; Strate College; and Umeå University of Design.
