The RS differs from the base Sonic with unique transmission gearing in the manual and a higher, 3.53 final drive ratio for the automatic transmission. It's available only in hatchback form.

The amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in new cars has decreased, but we still have a ways to go. The new Vitara isn’t too far off the  iV-4 Concept in looks – just a bit more ‘production and a bit less ‘Concept’ – and will come with front-wheel-drive as standard, but you will be able to spec a new Vitara up with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP 4WD and a selection of engines offering ‘outstanding’ fuel economy.
